Storage Footstools

• As indicated 3 standard sizes, 3 ft/4 ft, 4 ft/4ft and 5ft/4 ft.
• The internal depth of storage area is 8"
• I find the most popular size is the 3ft/4ft.
• Please note all products can be made to your specification.
• All footstools are fitted with a hinge that allows the lid to stay open without support – they lift and close easily.
• To make the product extra luxurious we line them internally also with your chosen fabric – please note this is standard.
• Excellent for storage of DVD’s , CD’s , Books, Magazine, toys, blankets and the list goes on….
• Footstools can also taken the place of a rug – rugs can sometimes be quite difficult to source and let’s face it they are much more useful than a rug.
• A few trays on top are fantastic as they allow you put cups and drinks on – so the footstools can double up as a coffee table.

Non Storage Footstools

Non storage are perfect for a smarter spaces, where storage is not necessary – perfect for putting coffee table books and trays for drinks on.

Can add such WOW factor to any drawing room, the bigger the better!!

Look wonderful buttoned – perfect for a bedroom or dressing room. Standard size as noted in product section.

Storage Rounds are perfect for storing children’s toys.

Oval Footstools

Please see product section. Buttoned or non-buttoned – both look wonderful in any room setting.

We have recently fringed a few oval footstools – very traditional and look wonderfully luxurious.

Legs

The most popular leg tends to be the turned one, either with a brass or chrome caster. The chrome caster gives it a more contemporary look.

Fabric

The London Footstool Company has an affiliation with Romo fabrics. Their range is vast, wonderfully varied in styles and colours , great quality and very reasonably priced.

We can also source most other brands.

The customer is at liberty to provide their own fabric – most companies are happy to deliver anywhere.

I find the most popular fabrics are velvets (especially for deep buttoned) and linens Stripes work very well, especially in velvets and velour’s.

Romo have a very comprehensive collection of velvets and linens.
